This is a good read for light to medium level fantasy lovers, particularly young adults who like strong female protagonists, matchmaking, battles and happy endings. Book Three: Elfs in a Conquered Realm. On their visit to the vanquished Kingdom of Menarm the elfs face many uncertainties. However, they are strong in numbers and sure of their purpose.
Once again the Silent Warrior is sent to the rescue. Yet he has been battling demons of his own and finds himself in great doubts of his performance as the champion of the last Princess of Menarm.
The shadows in his heart double with the disappearance of the two half-elf princes from the dead kingdom. Anna has answered all the open questions in the continuing saga of this beautiful race. Nicely concluded trilogy. Dye has done a fine job of blending romance and action while taking readers to a very satisfying conclusion to the series.

Anna was born in the extreme South along some famous beaches. She grew up with four other siblings being placed in the middle. Her husband, a native of Idaho, met her in her hometown. They fell in love and she came to Utah on Christmas Eve to be married two weeks later. They are the parents of three princes and a princess. Early on in her life she showed an affinity for sewing and took classes that rewarded her with the opportunities of doing costuming for the cast of four musicals, which she enjoyed immensely. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Many genres have too many rules to keep up with I like that. How do you come up with these ideas for the stories? What happened to the dwarf when he went home? Why are elfs special? What kind of woman would Legolas fall for? The other two books in the trilogy are different adventures in the main character's life.

When did you start to write seriously as an author? They were such a beautiful rendition of the books that I watched them in awe. I couldn't get enough of them. How long did it take for you to publish your first book? Two years. I didn't want to feel rushed so I wrote six books before the Trilogy was finally published. Aug 02, K rated it liked it. It has a lot of potential but it could use another round of revision.

Shahira especially, she talks like a 3 year old for almost the entire book. For about 2 pages in the end of the book she speaks normally, but then reverts back to her old habits. Santilia appears in the first part of the book, and then vanishes completely. In one chapter she is resigned to being a maid forever and in the next is she engaged with another man.
